Revival Calls

It's been 3 days since my seemingly quick, 3-week holiday ended and I finally have the heart to update my blog. As I type this post, I hear some weird, creepy wailing of either a tortured animal or some crazed neighbor. And so we have the title above.. =P

I guess one of the main reasons I did not bother posting anything is because nothing much happened since my last update. Well actually there are a few, but just not enough to inspire me lol.. Now for a little flashback of what happened almost a month ago. Hm...

1st week, right after exams, I literally grew wings and fluttered with my buddies to Times Square for some fun. Unfortunately, the theme park experience was really nauseating, I am so bad in handling rides that spins you around like a top and swings your insides out. Then there was Quantum of Solace which proved rather... insignificant as I had even forgotten the plot. Huhu... Guess I compare the new Bond to Pierce Brosnan too much. (But hey, he's IS better!)

I guess there's just no competition here, tsk tsk...

As days passed after I parted with my uni friends, I started to get real lazy at home. But with a little effort, managed to paint part of the wall outside my house. Ironically, the difficulty of this work lies not in the area I have to paint, but mostly in trying to figure out which part of the wall is already covered with a new coat because I'm painting white over a white wall! @_@

My holiday continued with me spending some quality time with my brother over a computer game which we had been playing together (once in a while) since I was 14! Well, the game's good but main reason being it's the only multiplayer game we could enjoy playing with only 1 pc.

I recommend this if you like turn based strategy games and you don't care about graphics..

Then with more slacking and not-doing-anything-useful, it came to the third and final week of holidays. Oh, but before that, I got to catch my first experience of a live drama performance at Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPac). Thanks to Joshua and his friends, it was a well worth show, certainly no regrets =)

Crazy Little Thing Called Love.. Click here for more info! =D

In the beginning of the month I tried looking for a job, but sadly none wanted to hire a 3 week part-timer, sigh... However before my short lived freedom ended, Loreki organised a great mini-lan party at his luxury apartment as a final treat before he flies off to Japan for his holiday. And the good news is that we would have a second one as soon as he's back on the 14th! Daym, now I'm getting anxious! Hehe...

Ah yes, I've also come to love a few more great songs.. So instead of putting the whole song here like I did previously, here's a few videos you can view. If u like them then quickly go download or you could always get them from me =D

Final Fantasy - Gotta Be Somebody (Music by Nickelback) ~ Pity no official music video

Michael Buble' - Crazy Little Thing Called Love ~ Also pity no official music video

Hinder - Without You ~ Emo song sia... But also no official mv T.T

As for this week, lectures kinda just started today and as always I have interesting classes which have lecturers that are more interesting than their lectures. lulz.. Hey, what can be cooler than a cute bear teaching politics and having learn what other wonders a super glue can do in engineering! Hahaha...

Here's some food for thought...

Science may have alleviated the miseries of disease and drudgery and provided an array of gadgetry for our entertainment and convenience, but it has left us in a world without wonder. Our sunsets have been reduced to wavelengths and frequencies. The complexities of the universe have been shredded into mathematical equations... Science proclaims that Planet Earth and its inhabitants are a meaningless speck in the grand scheme. A cosmic accident. Even the technology that promises to unite us, divides us. Each of us is now electronically connected to the globe, yet we feel utterly alone....

It shatters God's world into smaller and smaller pieces in quest of meaning... and all it finds is more questions...

And I definitely can't wait till this comes to our local cinemas!

So much for now, here's me signing off~
