Hope & Perseverence

Hope...
Deep under heaven,
where no sun may shine,
a light has brightnened the dark..
Believe it..

Myu-jikaru Kokugen

Mamosuke and Hisano were a loving couple who have been together for a very long time. However their love was put to the test when Mamosuke and his family were pursued by loan sharks due to his father’s overdue debts. To protect Hisano and their love, Mamosuke told her that they both needed some time apart to think about their future. As he left her without any further explanation of his sudden decision, she had an emotional breakdown. Hisano’s love for him was so deep that her life almost depended on it.

Since his absence, her only consolation was the music box that Mamosuke gave her during their 8th anniversary as a couple, which played a tune soothing enough to help her go through life without him. Tragedy befell when Hisano got into an accident as a car ran into her one day when she was traveling back from class. In her critical condition, she requested her parents to automatically play the music box in her ward as she was too frail to move.

According to the doctor, Hisano couldn’t survive physically but was kept alive due to her will to live. As she rested almost motionless everyday on the hospital bed, the music box played everyday at two in the afternoon and consecutively every four hours. She wanted the timing to be so as Mamosuke used to call her during those times when they were still seeing each other.

Weeks and months passed, Hisano waited patiently but he never returned. Unfortunately, ‘Death’ took her away not long after that as her body failed to keep up with her determined soul. Mamosuke returned to an empty hospital bed in Hisano’s ward, a day after she passed away. His heart was shattered, as the love he tried to protect was taken away by fate. As he left the room, a familiar tune struck him. He checked the ceiling clock and it was 2 p.m. Then at the corner of the room, he found the remnant of their love which is not meant to be. It was his music box to her playing its last requiem.

Mamosuke found out from her parents about how Hisano waited for him everyday on her death bed while listening to the timed music box. Emotions hit him like a wave but he was too late. During her funeral, he left the cherished music box on her grave but never forgetting the sweet memories they shared.

(And the perfect tune for the musical box shall be...)

To Zanarkand... Enjoy~

New Stuff

Edward and Envy~

For the anime fans out there, if you have been watching Gundam00, I'm sure you'd noticed the little spoiler of the upcoming new Fullmetal Alchemist (FMA) series! Ah rejoice all FMA fans out there, as the new anime would be a version much more similar to the original manga! =D

Well some would have wished... "I was really hoping for a continuation of the original anime... T_T I WANTED ED AND AL TO KICK HITLER'S A*S!! THAT WOULD BE EPIC!! EDWARD ELRIC VS. ADOLF HITLER XD!!"

At first I had the same opinion, but come to think of it since the story itself is already great and they're going to retell it with a little tweak.. So why not?? Check out the video below for the exciting teaser.

According to the video, the next issue of Shounen Gangan magazine promises to have further info concerning the new project — on sale December 12th.

And here's some nice pics to share (Please click to enlarge!)! :) Enjoy~

The journey continues...

D R E A M

Just woke up almost 2 hours ago.. And just had another weird dream which started from this...

Me and a bunch of people trying to jailbreak some "friends"..

And ended up becoming some run-and-scream (some other people were screaming, ain't me at least :P) horror scene...

If you've watched this 90's movie, you'll know how scary it is :)

And if you want me to be more specific on what really haunts the entire dream, please do click the following links to find out...

Hm.. Come to think of it, the funny part was that I was running around a shopping mall and nobody (as in the "shoppers") seemed to pay attention..

Ah well, considering I have not watched horror movies for a long while, wonder where these came from..

Familiar, no?

Alien?

It's been a while since I've been wondering what it would feel like to be normal.. Being some what different than people around you can take it's toll at times when you don't know whether you're alone out in the world. There's also the option of exploring the possibilities of whether they are one of us.. Yet there's the risk.. We're so vulnerable yet we chose not to be part of the majority. Why? Are we made that way or it's a matter of choice?

Is there anyone else out there like me?

Procrastination Strikes Back! o.o

I'm finally giving up in trying to capture every single moment of my life here.. It's WAY too difficult (maybe I just don't have that discipline) for me to either post here often or always trying to recall what happened whenever i make a super late post (now for instance, after abandoning my blog for almost a month?)

For my dear readers (if there's even any out there :P), i deeply apologize for being such a lazy procrastinator when it comes to updating my blog. Not that my life has been a monotonous tune, it's just that i'm looking for another way to present my blog. Instead of just posting smart/deep/emotional/philosophical/utterly-spam posts, i'm seeking a more unique approach. Main reason to be considered is that updating my blog wouldnt be as tedious as writing essays here.

Well of course, the 1st and so far, the only thing i can think of now is a photo blog.
80% photo, 20% words...

Hm.. I wonder how tat wud work out.. Anyhow here's some randoms of my life so far... Enjoy!

Yap and his trademark pose, lol! =D

Monkey madness! Guess where this is?

This is so randomly-rare that I believe it's pic-worthy, haha.. Can't recall where tho, anyone?

Xmas deco at 1 utama was great, which I saw during new-year's eve.. Too bad didn't take some upclose pics :(

Lulz, Yap once again with the T-shirt we got him for his 21st birthday.. Check out the wordings ^^ Want one?

My lil' nephew was up to his usual mischief before i snapped this candid pic as he shyly runs away :P

Recent products of the dog-breeding-fiesta happening right in front of my 2nd home at Kajang... These pups would be adorable if they weren't strays, ah well...

And now i retire to information-cramming, with hopes of returning here soon!

(I would so need a camera, handphone camera just fails sometimes.. sigh..)

28 Days Later...

28 Days later.. (sounds familiar no? Click here) Almost a month since my last post, I can see that my blog a bit "fat mou" (a term for rotting in Cantonese) Alas, I've finally drawn enough strength to get me out of my extreme laziness to freshen up this place. Recalling where I stopped, my year 2008 ended with quite a blast! First off was Christmas Nite 2008 which is an annual musical event held by my uni's Christian Fellowship TECHFLOW, and it was a great success.

The cool poster by our dear Publicity Director, Phoebe!

This time I get to watch the entire production for the 2nd time as a secretary of the event, compared to last year as I was part of the cast (who needs to wait around half a year to see the musical, lol) After the whole 'hoo-hah', I skipped the post-celebrations as due to dead-tiredness (stood for the whole 3 hours of the event, and plenty of walking with chit-chatting can take out a lot from you) =P

And then Christmas came on a Thursday, me and my highschool pals went over to Jia Yee's place for a little gathering (which indirectly celebrates her birthday as it is due in 2 days) Food was home-made, thanks to Jia Yee's culinary skills as she prepared pasta, a great sauce to go with it, pizza and the classic garlic bread (which tasted better than Pizza Hut, seriously)

December was so filled with holidays that I felt like having a real semester break. During New Year's Eve, I managed to successfully planned a gathering for my highschool pals once again (sadly my uni buddies couldn't make it T.T) Booked FOURTEEN tickets for the movie Bedtime Stories at GSC and had a table for 10 at Itallianies. After all the commotion to get everyone due to jams here and there, by God's grace all made it to dinner =D

First time in Itallianies was rather pleasant, though the food wasn't too great as the portions were moderate as we shared everything we ordered due to its pricey-ness. We had a lot servings of their free appetizer breads though, so most of us didn't complain not having enough. When movie time came, I recalled being unable to pay the lump sum when collecting the tickets at the booking counter. Didn't I expect the price to be more than 150 bucks, the cashier had me unprepared with that long stub of tickets.. I quickly resorted to calling one of friends, but ended up the whole gang came to save the day, woots~

Notice Bugsy the hamster?

The only thing that's interesting in this movie is the hamster, plot's rather predictable (happy endings where the protagonists live happily ever after, typical Disney movie ending) Adam Sandler was a tad little funny (I think Rob Schneider can do better than him, just that he doesn't look fatherly). Loved the Ferrari, chick was hot, but didn't feel magical. Probably I'm getting old, sigh..

Timing was great as we had only an hour and a half's time before the fireworks spectacle...

*** To be continued, lol***
